Showcasing some of the best musical Talent that Texas has to offer, as they put aside busy schedules and share their musical skills with approximately 500,000 people who wander through Market Square during the ten days of FIESTA - AN INTERNATIONAL EVENT ! Fiestas Fantasias, the celebration at Market Square in downtown San Antonio is sponsored by the San Antonio Parks Foundation. Richport Enterprises has been awarded the responsibility of assisting with coordinating and managing the entertainment during this event. We are looking for groups / bands who ACTIVELY play and are well versed in the following genres of music: Latin (Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Tejano, Bachata, Banda, Conjunto, Norteno, etc.) R&B/Funk/Old School 70's, Disco, 80's 90's, Hip Hop (clean lyrics & Family Friendly) / Blues Country Oldies But Goodies (50's, 60's), Pop, Classic Rock (no head banging stuff), Contemporary Christian - For Sunday Performances 11 am (Pop / Rock / Latin) Jazz (Latin Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Straight Ahead Jazz, etc.) Each group / band will be able to pass out promotional information and sell merchandise DURING their designated performance time (usually 2 to 3 sets).
